Recommended Schedule for Home Learning

Breakfast and morning chores

Read books on Raz Kids, or Achieve and answer questions/Use Epic or if no technology, any books

10:00

Break: Physical Activity (Remember Mr. Nickson is on Facebook live on Monday’s and Wednesday’s starting at 11:00 for younger students and 11: 20 for older students

10:30

Math: Khan Academy/Moby Max Lessons/ work from a packet if given one, review support links and videos

11:30

Eat Lunch/take a break

12:30

Journal writing: Respond to a writing prompt, remember to reread, revise, and edit (and illustrate for younger grades)

1:30

Break: Art project or color a picture, also for picture making, consider working to learn coding online if interested

2:00

Read a book or work on reading on Moby Max or Achieve

Take a break

3:00

Practice math facts for fluency and read sight words/spelling words for fluency. Use Moby Max fact fluency for the math or flashcards

Read an article and write down 5 things you learned from the article (Consider Science or Social Studies—including current events Article for middle school) 

4:00

Enjoy the rest of the evening with your family
